  • When you convert a Microsoft Office Word document to a .pdf file or an .xps file by using the Word Automation Services feature in SharePoint Server 2010, the table of contents links in the file are not clickable.

Consider the following scenario:

  • You create an InfoPath form that contains a field, and then you apply a rule to the field.
  • You publish the form to a SharePoint Server 2010 server.
  • You create an .aspx page to host the form.
  • You add a button so that you can interact with the form on the .aspx page.
  • You click the button
  • In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

Some rules were not applied
Exception of type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.Util.InfoPathFatalException' was thrown.

Assume that you have a SharePoint list that contains some values in the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing column. When you edit an item in the list by using Mozilla Firefox, the values in the column are deleted, and you cannot edit the column.

  • Attachments are not deleted from list items when the list form is customized by using Microsoft InfoPath Designer 2010.
  • Assume that you publish an InfoPath form and create an .aspx page that contains an XmlFormView control that displays the form. Additionally, assume that you add a button that triggers a postback to the .aspx page, and you also add managed code to the .aspx page. When you click the button, you receive the following error message:

Some of the last editing actions on the form may have been lost.

  • Assume that you create an Access Services service application that contains a data macro in SharePoint Foundation 2010. When you run the application that triggers the data macro, the data macro does not work correctly.
  • When you browse SharePoint webpages multiple times in the same Windows Internet Explorer 9 session, a memory leak in Iexplore.exe occurs.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You create nine task lists on a team site that uses forms-based authentication.
    • You move from task list one to task list nine one by one.
    • You go to the Home page of the team site.
In this scenario, you are prompted unexpectedly for authentication.

This cumulative update package resolves the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article:
  • 2598348

Description of the SharePoint Foundation 2010 hotfix package (Wss.msp): July 2, 2012

  • Assume that you create a publishing site collection in SharePoint 2010. You enable the Document ID service in the site collection. You click the Manage Content and Structure command on the site collection Site Actions menu, and then create a new page in the Site Content and Structure webpage. When you move the page to sites or folders on that webpage multiple times, the move operation fails.
  • When you add a tag cloud Web Part to a Shared Document library, the tag cloud Web Part does not show all the tags even though the Under the current URL by all users option is selected.
  • Assume that you enable the output cache feature in a SharePoint 2010 site collection, and that the cache is shared for authenticated users. When you click the My Profile link, the profile page of another user is displayed unexpectedly.
  • When you delete a subsite by using the Delete this site option in Site Settings, the subsite is moved to the site collection Recycle Bin. However, when you delete a subsite in a site collection through the Site Content and Structure webpage, the subsite is deleted permanently.
  • Assume that you create a custom site definition that contains multiple Web Parts in SharePoint 2010. You specify an ItemXslLink property on a ContentByQueryWebPart Web Part. The WebPartOrder value of the ContentByQueryWebPart Web Part is not first in the order. In this situation, the Content Query Web Part is allocated in the top of the Web Part zone. Therefore, the Content Query Web Part becomes first in the order, and this affects the order of all the other Web Parts.
  • Assume that the Document Set feature is enabled in a site collection. You save a document library as a document library template. When you create some documents by using the template in the library, the following event is logged in the Application log:

    Log Name: Application
    Source: Microsoft-SharePoint Products-SharePoint Foundation
    Date: Date
    Event ID: 6875
    Task Category: General
